Boswoningen is a residential development proposing 33 affordable duplex homes within a 28,000 m² forest site, forming part of a larger 17.2-hectare development area. The masterplan balances housing density with landscape preservation, creating a community-oriented environment for more than 100 residents while maintaining a strong connection to the surrounding natural setting. Designed with durable, cost-efficient construction methods, the project demonstrates how affordability and architectural quality can coexist. The development is guided by circular economy principles, prioritizing low-impact materials, resource efficiency, and sustainable construction techniques that reduce embodied carbon and operational energy demand throughout the buildings' lifecycle. By integrating environmental responsibility with accessible housing, the project offers a resilient and affordable living model that responds to the growing housing challenges in the Netherlands.
